Collaboration internally as well as with clients is fundamental to our overall process and approach in delivering the most intelligent work possible. 


Sean Clark
Managing Director

Sean brings over 25 years of multinational  marketing experience, having held executive positions in Research, Brand Planning, Advertising and Operations.  Some of his work has been on behalf of blue-chip clients that included Starbucks, Toyota, Clorox, Visa, Coors, Pepsi, Bank of America, T-Mobile, HP and McDonald's.  Sean is also a  frequent guest speaker at a variety of  industry and academic events including the AMA, ARF, AAAA, USC, Pepperdine, UW, UNLV and others.
Sean has been married to the same wonderful woman for 23 years, has a couple of sneaky kids and a bunch of animals that make cleaning the carpets pointless.



 
Mark Ell
Director of Strategic Planning & Consumer Insights
Mark brings a high level of domestic and international strategic planning and consumer research experience to SBD.  A former ad agency executive in Los Angeles, New York and London, Mark's brand work has impacted the likes of GE, Proctor & Gamble, American Airlines, Porsche, Microsoft, ConAgra and Sony.
An avid pilot and endurance swimmer, Mark obviously  isn't shy of adventure. 




 
Andrea Lake
Director of Innovation & Design

Andrea's background in Creative Direction, Design and Writing provide valuable inputs to the approach and design of a variety of our research techniques and strategy work.  Her talent in both verbal and visual forms of marketing  communication and research provide valuable tools in the development of innovative program paths. 
Some of her past experience includes McDonald's, Sears, United Airlines, Microsoft, Phillips, GE, Coke and ESPN.
Andrea is still looking for that perfect husband as the first two although saying they were listening, really weren't.
